Willie Logan lives and breathes Opa-Locka. His entire life’s work has been based in Opa-Locka, his home and where his heart, family, and friends are. In 1980, at the young age of 23, he became one of the youngest mayor’s in history. That same year, with the help of some other key community members, he began the Opa-Locka Community Development Corporation and has dedicated the past 35 years of his life to making improvements in the area and enriching the lives of the community members there.
